The following courses are for participants from NGOs and international organisations:

19-23 January 2009:
Essentials of NGO Management (5 days) - How to manage and lead an NGO

26-28 January:
Project Planning and Management with Logical Framework Approach (3 days) - How to design, present and monitor projects with the help of a concise and simple table
This course is suitable for project managers, team leaders, desk officers and heads of department. For course objectives and programme, see here.

29-30 January:
Effective Programme Disengagement (2 days) - Achieving programme and project sustainability
This course is for those who have to end a project or programme and need to develop a sustainable disengagement strategy to withdraw responsibly. Click here for course objectives and programme.

Course fees

Course fees cover tuition, training materials and handouts, lunch and refreshments during course breaks and a course certificate. The number of participants is limited to 20 persons. Accommodation is not included. Reservations at recommended hotels are made upon request.

Non-OECD fee applies for participants who are nationals from countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe.

OECD fee applies for all participants who are nationals from OECD member states, independently of their organisation's annual revenue. OECD fees also apply for participants working for an non-OECD organisation with annual revenue of more than CHF 7.5 mio.

Fee for bookings until 22 December 2008 / after 22 December 2008 (CHF= Swiss Francs):

    5-day course:
    Non-OECD: CHF 1250 / CHF 1500
    OECD: CHF 1750 / CHF 2000

    3-day course:
    Non-OECD: CHF 750 / CHF 900
    OECD: CHF 1050 / CHF 1200

    2-day course:
    Non-OECD: CHF 500 / CHF 600
    OECD: CHF 700 / CHF 800.

NMS is not in a position to help applicants obtaining sponsorship from other organisations. We encourage applicants to contact their organization or donor agencies to secure financial support.

To register, please use this form. The form includes payment information and the terms and conditions. To secure your place, we recommendend to register early. Deadline is 22 December, 2008. Registration form and payment must both have reached us until this date. Please note that bank transfers may take from 2-5 days.
